Miron Billingsley to address Men's Prayer Breakfast at St. Francis

Miron P. Billingsley, Ed.DDr. Miron Billingsley, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at Prairie View A&M University is the speaker for the Monthly Men's Prayer Breakfast at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall of the church at 204 Dooley Street, Prairie View.

As we will be commemorating the life of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Dr. Billingsley will speak on his background, training and experiences in relation to Dr. King’s philosophy on civil rights and service.

Billingsley joined the PVAMU staff in July 2008 having served as the vice president of student affairs at Arkansas Baptist College, where he managed student affairs, programming and development. 

Prior to his post at Arkansas Baptist College, he served as adjunct professor of Communications in the Tavis Smiley School of Communications at Texas Southern University.  He also served as the director of Training and Development for PeopleSoft at the University of Houston and has worked as the director of public relations and marketing at Langston University.
