For the past 20 years he has been employed with the City of Houston as a Public Health Investigator. His role in the public health department opened his eyes and ears to people with emotional needs and various kinds of harmful and recurring addictions that only the power of God could heal. For the past ten years, he has served as a pastor of two ministries in Columbus. His religious affiliations include memberships with the Church of The Nazarene, the Christian Brethren Church, Full Gospel Church, Church Of God In Christ, United Methodist, Assembly of God, Southern Baptist, some non-denominational churches. He and his wife have also worked with other churches and ministries including Youth for Christ, Youth with a Mission, Lutheran, AME, Apostolic, Adventists, Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian and Elim churches. They are not “church hoppers”, but they look beyond denominational boundaries and offer their services to churches and ministries that are in need of such.

In addition to his preaching and teaching the word of God, Reverend James has produced a Christian music album (O What A Feeling) and have authored 2 books (12 Never-mentioned Steps to Discipleship and Love is the True Foundation of the Gospel) based on our myriad of experiences in the ministry coupled with a clearer understand of the word of God.
James holds the Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Prairie View A&M University and the Biblical Ministry degree from Midwest Full Gospel Bible Institute and he is an ordained Minister of the Gospel by the Full Gospel Evangelistic Association.
